Study
Join us for a study of The Spirits' Book, by Allan Kardec and learn more about Spiritism.
This weekly study will cover Spiritism in its triple aspect: Philosophic, Religious and Scientific, including fundamental principles such as:
- The immortality of the soul and plurality of existences
- The origin and nature of spirits
- The moral law
- Free-will
- The afterlife, and much more!
Gospel talks (Public Meetings)
The maxims of Christ as explained in “The Gospel According to Spiritism”, by Allan Kardec.
These meetings are held in the Portuguese language only, for now.
When: Wednesdays from 7pm to 7:30pm.
Prayers group (non-public)
Weekly meetings that gather well-intentioned workers to radiate positive thoughts and prayers to the needy.
Children Evangelisation
The Children Evangelisation aims at helping children to cultivate Christian morals and principles in a playful and joyful environment.
Age range: 3 to 10 years old.
About us
Sunflower Spiritist Centre Inc. was established on the 12th day of August of 2013 (the work commenced in March 2009 – the incorporation was in 2012) to form a Christian Religious Group, a non-profitable organisation, with no political influence or connection, of any sort, with any political parties. Our spiritist centre, as we call it, is an incorporated association registered in NSW, and is open to anyone independent on their social status, race, gender, ethnic background, sexual preferences or religion as long as they bind by the association rules.
Our objectives include:
- Practise and study the Spiritist Philosophy Doctrine, also known as Spiritism, in its triple aspect: scientific, philosophic and religious, as per the Codification (Kardec’s works contained in the 5 books: The Spirits’ Book, The Gospel According to Spiritism, the Mediums Book, Heaven & Hell, and Genesis), compiled and organised by Allan Kardec;
- Dedicate to the practice of The Gospel of Jesus, The Christ, as revealed by the Spirits and contained on the above referred Codification;
- Raise awareness of Spiritism through Lectures and Talks, book lending, newsletters, internet and other communication channels;
- Promote social assistance to the community in need, exercising all the Christian principles, such as love, charity, fraternity, humbleness, tolerance, peace, etc;
- Develop and maintain activities and studies to provide to people awareness of the Jesus’s Gospel According to Spiritism.
